Asshole Teammate moment?

With my E/Mo, our party got killed and one person stood there for a few minutes, then after running around near town, that b------ left! that really annoyed me

If anyone's interested, I've got 2 in Pre-searing and 2 in post-searing: 1 in Old Ascalon and one who can travel almost everywhere. Look for one of these characters (Note: I will need help on my level 7 and lower characters)

For myself the best times experiencing PUGs is when those that are being assholes or when they receive a -ve death penalty leave on their own accord. Sometimes it leaves determined folk who are willing to work together and the satisfaction from completing the mission/quest having less people is immense

Another a-hole moment:

One warrior who apparently considered himself Conan the Barbarian aggroed EVERYTHING during the Sanctum Cay mission. In the end where you have to wait and defend the v____r, he ran off to godknowswhere, gets a good beating and then runs back, pulling more mobs to the v____r. 5 of us got killed. The last dude was smart, he ran around and managed to make it, getting all of us to complete the mission.

All's well that ends well I guess, but I was so pissed off back then.

not so much A-holes as just plain morons.

I've found that groups are a lot worse in the missions now then when I started playing the game. When it came out, I was able to just add anyone saying "LFG" and form a good solid PUG that could beat a mission. I didn't fail a mission until thunderhead keep! Yes, I even beat Elona, Thirsty River, and Dunes on the first try with PUGs.

One suggestion, as your topic indicates you haven't realized a basic truth.

Suggestion: Get used to it.

Revise your subject to "some ppl WILL be jerks..." and you'll have a better outlook on how these games are played. You can't avoid the jerks. You can get lucky now and then, and not get one by chance, but you can't avoid them if you are sellecting from the random playerbase. Getting into an active guild is a good start to at least identifying the jerks so you can avoid them.
